One of my clients came in for nose hair waxing and told me they were “pleasantly surprised how painless” it was, and that’s the same kind of relief I want you to feel walking into your first consultation. If you’re nervous, that’s normal. Most people are. A consultation is simply a short, private meeting, usually 10 to 30 minutes, where I listen to your goals, go over health history and skin or hair concerns, talk through recommended services and pricing, and do a patch test if we need one. You’ll leave with a clear plan and zero pressure.
Quick note: You don’t have to decide everything on the spot. Ask your questions, tell me what worries you, and if you want to think it over, that’s completely fine.
What to bring to your 30-minute consultation (and what I’ll ask you)
I keep consultations efficient, especially for my Port St. Lucie clients who are fitting this in between work, school runs, or a quick stop before heading to the course. If you bring a few simple things, we can get you a solid plan fast.
- Photo references: Brow shape inspiration, skin goals, lash looks, or anything you’re trying to match. This helps me understand what “natural” or “dramatic” means to you.
- A current medication list: Some meds and topicals can make skin more reactive. I’d rather know up front so I can steer you toward the safest next step.
- Allergy or sensitivity info: Especially fragrance sensitivity, latex sensitivity, past reactions to wax, tint, adhesive, or numbing products.
- ID: Helpful for confirming details if we’re doing anything that requires it.
- Recent treatment notes (if you have them): If you’ve had chemical peels, microneedling, permanent makeup, or corrective skincare recently, bring dates and what was used if you know it.
Port St. Lucie tip: Our humidity and sun can change your skin fast. I generally recommend avoiding tanning or showing up sunburned, because it can limit what I’m comfortable doing next.
Inside the consultation: intake, assessment, pricing, and patch tests without the awkwardness
When you arrive at my St. Lucie West / Southwest Port St. Lucie studio, I’ll start with a few quick intake questions. This is the part where you tell me what you’re hoping for and what you don’t want again. People come in nervous all the time, especially if they’ve had a rushed experience somewhere else. I slow it down enough to do it right.
Next, I’ll do a visual assessment. That might mean looking at skin texture and sensitivity if you’re asking about a facial or peel, checking brow growth patterns if you’re asking about eyebrow waxing near me or brow waxing near me, or talking through hair growth and timing if you’re considering brazilian waxing near me or a bikini line wax near me. If you’re coming in because you’ve been searching “waxing near me” and you’re worried about pain, tell me. I’m used to that conversation, and I’ll explain what sensations are normal and what I do to keep it manageable.
Then we talk plan and pricing. I’ll outline what I recommend, how many sessions it usually takes to reach your goal (when it’s a series-based service), and what the timing looks like. If we need a patch test, I’ll explain why and exactly what you’re watching for afterward. And if you’re not ready, you can pause. You’re in control.
“I was nervous it would be painful but she has a gentle hand and you can tell she is very experience because it wasn't bad at all.”

Privacy matters: Consultations are confidential and judgement-free. You can ask anything, change your mind, or decide you want a different option after we talk it through.
After your consultation: next steps, simple aftercare, and how soon you can book
You’ll leave your consultation with next steps in plain language. If you’re booking something like waxing, we’ll talk about timing and what to avoid right before your appointment. If you’re planning skincare, I’ll go over basic cautions, including being careful with sun exposure. In Port St. Lucie, that matters year-round.
If we do a patch test, I’ll tell you what “normal” looks like and what is a reason to pause. I’ll also point you toward the right at-home habits so you don’t accidentally undo great work with harsh scrubs, strong actives, or too much sun.
A lot of people are surprised by how much better they feel just having a plan. I hear it all the time in different ways, like clients telling me they feel “confident and well taken care of” after consistent visits. That’s the goal, even before the first full service.
If you’re comparing options: You can also read my post on how a consultation saves time and reduces risk. It’s a good fit if you’ve ever felt unsure about what to book.
Port St. Lucie timing tips: 10 to 30 minutes, punctuality, and hurricane-season reschedules
Most consultations take 10 to 30 minutes. Mine is booked as a 30-minute slot so we’re not rushing, but I still keep it moving. Please arrive on time. If you arrive late, it cuts into the assessment, and I don’t like guessing when I’m building your plan.
St. Lucie West and Southwest Port St. Lucie are easy to get to, especially if you’re coming off I-95 or you’re near Crosstown Parkway and St. Lucie West Boulevard. I also serve Fort Pierce, Stuart, Jensen Beach, Palm City, and Hobe Sound, and I keep early-morning and evening appointment windows available because a lot of my clients commute.
And yes, hurricane season is real life here. If severe weather is forecast and you don’t feel safe driving, let me know and we’ll reschedule. I’d rather adjust the calendar than have you stressed or rushing.
Trust check: If you want to confirm my hours and location before you drive over, you can find Endless Wax Studio & More on Google Maps and on active studio social pages.
My best “first visit” advice (especially if you’re nervous)
Tell me the truth about what you’ve hated in the past. Too rushed. Too painful. Too much taken off. Not enough taken off. That kind of detail matters, and it helps me avoid the exact problem that makes people bounce between “eyebrow waxing near me” searches and never feel settled.
Also, be specific about your “areas of interest.” One client said it perfectly: if I’m moving quickly, it’s because I’m being conservative. You can’t put hair back on. If you want a certain shape, a certain hairline cleaned, or a certain look for lashes, say it out loud.
When you’re ready, book the consultation and bring your questions. If you’re looking ahead to services, I’m happy to talk through options like brazilian waxing near me, bikini line wax near me, brow waxing near me, lash extensions near me, lash lift and tint near me, or a facial if your skin needs a reset.
