This treatment suits most skin types—including normal, dry, oily, and combination—because exfoliation, ginseng and clarifying ingredients are customizable. Sensitive skin receives gentler application and patch testing is performed for safe, effective results.
Appointments typically run 45 to 60 minutes, allowing time for consultation, deep hand exfoliation, AHA mint mask application, and targeted clay conditioning, plus post-treatment recommendations depending on consultation and additional treatments you choose.
Most clients experience minimal downtime. Mild redness or tingling can appear for a few hours after AHAs, but usually subsides. Avoid direct sun and use SPF for 48 hours post-treatment.
We advise spacing aggressive exfoliation and waxing. Light waxing can be coordinated, but full facial resurfacing and waxes are best scheduled 24 to 48 hours apart to reduce irritation and ensure optimal results.
AHAs like glycolic and lactic are safe when professionally formulated and applied; they accelerate exfoliation. We assess tolerance, control strength, and recommend sun protection and aftercare to minimize sensitivity as needed.
For maintenance, schedule every four to six weeks to support cellular turnover and skin clarity. Your technician may personalize frequency based on goals, skin condition, tolerance to AHAs, and lifestyle factors.
