We recommend scheduling maintenance every 4 to 6 weeks depending on your hair growth pattern. Regular visits keep hairs shorter, reduce discomfort, and maintain smoothness. Your technician will advise the best interval based on regrowth and waxing history.

Aim for about a quarter-inch to half-inch of hair (roughly 3 to 12 mm). That length allows the wax to grip effectively while minimizing breakage. If hair is too short, you may need to wait until it grows to the ideal length.

Most clients find maintenance sessions less uncomfortable than their first wax because hair is shorter and follicles are accustomed to removal. We use professional techniques and soothing care to minimize pain. Tell your technician if you need adjustments.

Avoid heavy exercise, hot showers, or alcohol for 24 hours before your visit. Gently exfoliate 48 hours prior if recommended, and arrive clean. Inform your technician about medications or skin treatments to ensure safe waxing.

Apply a fragrance-free soothing lotion or aloe within 24 hours, avoid hot tubs and tight clothing for 48 hours, and exfoliate gently after 3–5 days to prevent ingrown hairs. Follow any product guidance your technician provides.

Certain skin conditions, active infections, recent surgery, or use of topical retinoids or blood thinners may contraindicate waxing. Disclose medications and medical history during booking so we can advise alternatives or appropriate waiting periods.
